About this Sales Manager Role:

In this critical role, you will be responsible in driving growth by acquiring, growing, and retaining Investors (Lenders) and Issuers (MSME Borrowers) through effective promotion of microLEAP’s P2P Financing solution. This position is based in Penang , offering a compensation package inclusive of salary and commission.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and cultivate the Issuer/SME and investor base to meet established sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and their team to achieve targets and budgets.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Develop leads from current commercial customers, referral sources, and participation in sales and trade events.
  • Engage in region-wide customer acquisition activities, demonstrating mobility and flexibility.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and proactively manage customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address operational, credit, and risk-related issues.
  • Review and provide regular reports on weekly and monthly sales performance.
  • Exhibit commitment to company values and culture in daily responsibilities and interactions.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks or projects in consultation with C-level executives.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferably a Manager or above with specialization in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating high self-motivation for success.
  • Attractive commission remuneration, potentially reaching up to five figures for successful deals.
