About this Sales Manager Role:

In this critical role, you will be responsible in driving growth by acquiring, growing, and retaining Investors (Lenders) and Issuers (MSME Borrowers) through effective promotion of microLEAP’s P2P Financing solution. This position is based in Penang / Johor / Sarawak / Sabah/ Selangor & KL, offering a compensation package inclusive of salary and commission.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and cultivate the Issuer/SME and investor base to meet established sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and their team to achieve targets and budgets.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers, promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Develop leads from current commercial customers, referral sources, and participation in sales and trade events.
  • Engage in region-wide customer acquisition activities, demonstrating mobility and flexibility.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and proactively manage customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address operational, credit, and risk-related issues.
  • Review and provide regular reports on weekly and monthly sales performance.
  • Exhibit commitment to company values and culture in daily responsibilities and interactions.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks or projects in consultation with C-level executives.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferably a Manager or above with specialization in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating high self-motivation for success.

About this role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Group Management Team at microLEAP PLT. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions, managing administrative tasks, and facilitating effective communication within the management team and across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Calendar Management:
    • Coordinate and manage the complex calendars of the Group Management Team, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
    • Anticipate potential scheduling conflicts and proactively address them to ensure optimal time management.
  • Communication and Correspondence:
    • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, screening and prioritizing communications.
    • Draft, review, and edit emails, memos, reports, and other documents on behalf of the management team.

Operations Champion

Operations Champion (Credit & Collections) – Job Description (JD)

Reporting directly to the COO / Credit & Collections Manager, you will be responsible for providing operations support across all our Credit & Collections efforts for the successful onboarding and payment collections of our Issuers (MSME borrowers).

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in reviewing financing applications and assist in performing credit checks on Issuers.

Utilise our proprietary credit risk algorithm to assist in getting Issuers on-boarded.

Analyse the results from our credit risk algorithm and assess our Issuers accordingly.

Provide management reports and ideas to make our platform more efficient.

Assist in amending and improving our credit risk algorithm if required.

Assist in coordinating, administering, and monitoring disbursement of funds.

Communicate with Issuers and their Guarantors to ensure timely payment collection of outstanding amounts.

Support other operational teams and/or stakeholders in driving operational change and improvement.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Demonstrated record of academic success

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a customer-centric mindset
