This Investment Note payment is based on Balloon Payment method where the Issuer will make monthly Profit-only payments for the preceding months followed by a Principal + Profit payment on the final payment date. The tenor is 3 months. Please refer to the explanation below on the repayment structure for the Issuer.

Both of our founders pack over a decade each of investment banking experience in treasury markets. The end goal is to disrupt the traditional finance industry by digitizing and liberating the commercial foreign exchange market through the introduction of more efficient ways to perform financial transactions. Through our collaborative model and our ability to offer cheaper, faster and more convenient international remittance, we’ve managed to transact over RM 3.6 Billion in volume since operating in mid-2017 up till today (May 2022), with more than 25,000 user registrations spread across individuals and businesses.

MoneyMatch is currently operating in Malaysia, Brunei and Australia with additional license obtained in Hong Kong and Singapore license approval is well underway. Locally, we are ramping up our operations in the northern and southern region and internationally, we have launched our Intermediary Institution Services to provide other money service operators with access to our proprietary global payment network. MoneyMatch is also participating in the local digital banking scene through the consortium led by KAF Investment Bank which was recently selected to receive an Islamic digital banking license in Malaysia. MoneyMatch’s involvement includes developing the DigiBank infrastructure alongside other participants of the consortium, Jirnexu and Carsome. The synergy expected between the DigiBank Consortium partners will improve and enrich the user experience even further.

What has been their annual sales turnover? / Bagaimanakah hasil jualan tahunan?

The Group generated RM 5.8 million in cross border payments in 2021. As of May 2022, our revenue reported at RM3 million, which is on track to exceed the total revenue generated in 2021. We have seen consistent quarter to quarter growth since the slowdown in the earlier part of the pandemic and as we step into 2022, we have seen significant improvement in the overall economy which encourages demand in the cross border payment space. Post-pandemic period, MoneyMatch has a more diversified customer profile which has elevated any concentration risk towards specific industries. As part of our expansion plans, we look to expand our product offerings with a specific focus on the B2B segment by creating more B2B-focused solutions to further diversify and boost our revenue.

Setakat bulan Mei 2022, kami telah mencapai jumlah jualan sebanyak RM 3 juta yang hampir melebihi jumlah hasil yang dijana pada tahun 2021. Sejak kelembapan ekonomi pada peringkat awal wabak global, kami melihat peningkatan hasil jualan yang konsisten setiap suku tahun dan tahun ini kami telah melihat peningkatan ketara dalam ekonomi keseluruhan yang menggalakkan permintaan dalam ruang pembayaran pembayaran antarabangsa. How would the Issuer utilize the funds raised on the platform? / Apakah yang kami akan lakukan dengan wang yang dikumpul di platform ini?

The funds are to be used solely to manage the gap in the timing of the cash cycle. It will allow us to expedite our remittance flow for clients and partners orders, thus increasing overall demand. It will also enable foreign currency bulk purchase that would result in improved revenue margin.

This is the 2nd Investment Note hosted by Issuer. The first Investment Note has been fully repaid and in a timely manner. The Issuer i-score is rated as 7 (‘Good’) with a Probability of Default (PD) 2.5% - 5% as rated by Experian. The 1st Personal Guarantor also is rated 6 (‘Fair’) with a PD of 5% - 10% and 2nd Personal Guarantor is rated with 7 (‘Good’) with PD of 2.5% - 5%.
This Issuer has a Low Risk of Default and a strong Credit Quality due to its good cash flow. The Issuer currently has a healthy revenue that can cover the monthly profit payments.
