The e-commerce market is constantly growing by 6% annually between 2015 and 2018. In year 2019, Malaysia e-commerce market generated a revenue of US$3.68 billion (RM15.2 billion). Fast forward to 2020, Malaysia’s e-commerce market is worth US$ 4.3 billion, with a prediction for annual market growth to reach 11.8% by 2023 and is expected to double to $8.1 billion by the year 2024.
Malaysia’s online e-commerce revenue surged 28.9 per cent in April 2020, although the total sales value of wholesale and retail trade dropped 36.6 per cent as compared with the same month a year earlier due to the lock down for Covid-19 disasters. Shift in consumer behaviour towards digitalised and more convenient method of purchasing and payment will likely to continue and will act as a catalyst for rapid growth in retail sales.

We are focusing on selling in ecommerce marketplace. We are currently running 10 stores on Shopee and Lazada which selling outdoor store products, womenswear, menswear, children toys and other categories. We are targeting to bring in more products to Malaysia and open 5 new stores by every month.

Pasaran e-dagang terus meningkat sebanyak 6% setiap tahun antara tahun 2015 dan 2018. Pada tahun 2019, pasaran e-dagang Malaysia menjana pendapatan AS $ 3,68 bilion (RM15,2 bilion). Menjelang tahun 2020, pasaran e-dagang Malaysia bernilai AS $ 4.3 bilion, dengan ramalan pertumbuhan pasaran tahunan mencapai 11.8% menjelang 2023 dan dijangka meningkat dua kali ganda kepada $ 8.1 bilion pada tahun 2024.
Pendapatan e-dagang dalam talian Malaysia melonjak 28.9 peratus pada April 2020, walaupun jumlah nilai jualan perdagangan borong dan runcit turun 36.6 peratus berbanding bulan yang sama tahun sebelumnya kerana penutupan bencana Covid-19. Pergeseran tingkah laku pengguna ke arah kaedah pembelian dan pembayaran yang digital dan lebih mudah kemungkinan akan berterusan dan akan bertindak sebagai pemangkin pertumbuhan pesat dalam penjualan runcit.

Kami memberi tumpuan kepada penjualan di pasaran e-dagang. Kami kini menjalankan 10 kedai di Shopee dan Lazada yang menjual produk peralatan luar, pakaian wanita, pakaian lelaki, mainan kanak-kanak dan kategori lain. Kami mensasarkan untuk membawa lebih banyak produk ke Malaysia dan membuka 5 kedai baru setiap bulan.

Who is the owner / key person(s) in the business? / Siapakah Pemilik Perniagaan ini?

Our Managing Director, has more than 7 years’ experience for running a business, 9 years’ experience of product sourcing and import, helping Malaysia medium company to source for product, manufacture and import goods. He has a wide connection with China, Taiwan, USA and Thailand manufacturer. He also have been study ecommerce strategy and running ecommerce business for 4 years, experience and familiar with Malaysia Ecommerce buying pattern, marketing strategy.

Our Operations Manager worked in Google Malaysia as Customer Relation Manager with 3+ years’ experience supervise customer service to assist customers through online interface, answering phone inquiries, following up with the status of enquiries. Experienced and familiar with Malaysia Ecommerce buying pattern, which help us to achieve higher sales in our ecommerce business.

Our Operation Supervisor has 3 years career experience in warehousing and distribution environments and possesses excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Beliau telah mempelajari strategi e-commerce dan menjalankan perniagaan e-commerce selama 4 tahun, berpengalaman dan akrab dengan pola pembelian E-commerce Malaysia, strategi pemasaran.

Pengurus Operasi kami pernah bekerja di Google Malaysia sebagai Pengurus Perhubungan Pelanggan dengan pengalaman 3+ tahun mengawasi perkhidmatan pelanggan untuk membantu pelanggan melalui dalam talian, menjawab pertanyaan telefon, kemaskini status susulan pertanyaan. Berpengalaman dan biasa dengan corak pembelian E-commerce Malaysia, strategi pemasaran dan mempunyai hubungan dengan syarikat pasaran ini yang membantu kami mencapai penjualan yang lebih tinggi dalam perniagaan e-commerce kami.

Our first target is to develop our own automated system and set up more than a hundred stores on international ecommerce marketplace such as Amazon, Ebay, Lazada, Shopee etc.

We will use the fund to pay part of our automate system development fee. Once the automate system develop, it can help us to reduce 30% of manpower.

The rationale behind the Issuer's Credit Risk Score - microLEAP's Comments

Issuer has an MR5 (Medium Risk 5) rating and there is a personal guarantor for the financing. The Guarantor's I-score is 5 ('Fair') with a Probability of Default of 10% - 20% according to an external credit bureau. Though the Issuer has only been incorporated recently, they have generated good revenues online. The Issuer does have some debt outside of microLEAP but this seems manageable. The Issuer has sufficient revenue to cover his payments to microLEAP of RM1,909.02 a month. The risk is MR5 (Medium Risk 5) and so it has a medium credit quality and medium risk of default.
